The faculty role generally encompasses three areas of responsibility: Teaching, Research, and Service. Here at Singapore Management University, our Graduate Instructor Foundations in Teaching (GIFT) Programme seeks to prepare  our Graduate Instructors, for their future roles as faculty members. The Center for Teaching Excellence, in partnership with the Postgraduate Research Programs Office, runs the 1.5 days Teaching Forum.

 

At the end of the programme, Graduate Instructors would develop competencies and proficiency skills in teaching, which can be used to help their students advance their learning.
