External Grants

The MOE Tertiary Education Research Fund (TRF) aims to promote higher education innovation and research.

The primary aim of ERFP is to improve classroom practice, enhance student outcomes, build organizational and teacher capacities in Singapore schools, and inform MOE policies. Thus, proposals for ERFP funding must demonstrate relevance to MOE mission and goals and potential benefits to Singapore’s educational institutions.

To support science-based research to generate implementable and scalable interventions that improve education and skills development.

To support rigorous, intellectually ambitious and technically sound research that is relevant to the most pressing questions and compelling opportunities in education.

To foster high quality and rigorous applied research in workforce development and lifelong learning.

We support proposal reviews in partnership with the Office of Research Governance & Administration for these external grants.
