Singapore’s transformation towards knowledge-intensive and innovation-driven economy necessities the culture of continuous learning in across different levels of society for individuals to maintain their employability. Besides its economic values in meeting the labor market demand and maintain economic growth, adult learning can also contribute to fulfilment of personal aspirations and improve social equality and inclusiveness. The significance of adult learning on economic, social, and personal outcomes is apparent and worthy of attention.
This workshop aims to inspire new line of research on adult learning through a sharing of relevant literature.
