Workshop 1 - The Art of Facilitation for Deeper Learning

Good facilitation skills are key for educators in creating a conducive, valuable, and intellectually challenging learning environment.
This hands-on, and engaging workshop will enable participants to explore both the underlying theories and the key skills needed to be effective facilitators. They will develop an understanding of how to use facilitation to scaffold student learning and facilitate rich discussions in their classes.
Workshop 2 - Effective Feedback Practices
Tuesday, 4 August 2025, 9am - 5pm
Good feedback is essential for students to learn effectively. However, developing and giving feedback remains difficult for educators. Factors such as time pressures and student expectations create challenges which good teachers need to be able to manage.
This hands-on, and engaging workshop will enable participants to explore both the underlying theories, and the key skills needed to develop and deliver effective and timely feedback. They will develop an understanding of how to find opportunities to give feedback to students both in written and verbal forms.
