Cheleen Chua and Tan Chia Mien (CEC) will lead this full-day, face-to-face workshop on campus focused on facilitation as a key teaching skill to promote deep, active learning. Participants will explore underlying theories and practice core facilitation techniques to scaffold student learning and enable rich classroom discussions.

By the end of the workshop, educators are able to explain inquiry-based learning, distinguish between teaching and facilitation, plan facilitated classroom activities, use questioning techniques to suit different situations, and facilitate valuable group discussions.
