Singapore Management University cordially invites our friends from the AUN-TEPL thematic network to attend this webinar. This session will begin with providing an overview of the extensive body of research in cognitive science, the Science of Learning, extracting some of the most powerful and proven approaches to teach in order to promote greater learning, including designing personalised learning experience though technology.
Because the webinar is about learning science, participants can expect to be engaged and to actively participate. We will challenge conventional paradigms about how we believe we learn compared to how we learn optimally. It will be a mix of live polling and interactive discussion. The poll will encourage participants to assess their own teaching practices in relation to research on human learning, followed by the delivery of dynamic mini lessons to optimise learning.
