Effective feedback is a cornerstone of successful teaching and learning in higher education. When students receive timely and well-crafted feedback, they gain clarity about their progress, understand their strengths and areas for improvement, and develop the metacognitive skills necessary for self-directed learning. However, providing quality feedback while managing large classes and multiple teaching responsibilities remains a persistent challenge for many university instructors.
In this workshop, Principal Lecturer Ong Ee Ing (YPHSL) and Senior Lecturer Kiruthika Ramanathan (SCIS) shared their strategies for delivering impactful feedback that enhances student learning while maintaining manageable workloads.
