Description

This project aims to provide personalised course recommendations to be used by students in selecting courses in their curricula. Factors that can drive the recommendations include a students’ appreciation of, and performance in, past courses as well as expressed career interests The system is designed with an understanding of (i) the students’ typical decision making process when selecting courses using a current course registration platform; (ii) the student interaction pattern with the current course registration platform, and (iii) how new information provided by personalised course recommendations would change their interaction pattern and course selection. 

This project is currently under development, proof-of-concept stage.
